Owner Theresa Carter-Hess founded RosAmungThorns three years ago. From beginning as a home-based business, the company moved to a retail space just 30 days later. Theresa is proud to be part of the local community and was honored to be featured on the front page of the Springfield Business Journal in 2013. The company also enjoys being part of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau, and Springfield’s Best.
RosAmungThorns provides flowers for wedding, events, funerals, and all occasions. They carry fresh and artificial plants, candles, plush, Willow Tree, and many other gift items. RosAmungThorns doesn’t just offer flower arrangements and gifts. They set themselves apart by offering education courses to flower enthusiasts.
You must be wondering by now about the unusual spelling of the company name. It’s not a typo. In fact, Theresa’s grandpa used to call her “the rose among thorns.” When she opened her first email account, she wanted to honor that, but the correct spelling was taken. “RosAmungThorns” was the obvious next choice.
